This campaign concept was first developed from a larger analytics research project about U.S. domestic passenger air travel. Starting in the R coding language the project analyzed publicly available domestic airline data specifically targeting on-time performance, market share, and Twitter sentiment analysis. The results of the research determined that Delta Airlines has significantly had the best on-time performance for the past five years at the time of the data release. From this insight, the campaign “Important moments in life” was born. This campaign concept includes digital animated billboards that show live social media posts in addition to a storyboard for a TV spot commercial.
